四川铜币，是晚清和北洋时期四川省地方政权铸造的货币。由于川省银铜矿溃乏，加之辛亥革命以后军阀割据混战，致使中央政府《币制条例》关于铜币之原料比例、铜币面额的规定没有严格遵守，四川铜币发行量十分巨大，致使物价虚高、影响经济发展。四川铜币，自光绪二十九年（1903年）六月开铸，至民国二十四年（1935年）十一月法币开始流通才逐渐退出流通领域。
1911年5月，腐败的清政府假借铁路国有化名义，将民办川汉、粤汉筑路权出让给英法德美四国银行团，激起全国各地人民的反对，四川省反响尤为强烈，数十万人参加了保路同志军。武昌起义后，各省先后宣布独立，保路军包围了成都。赵尔丰控制不住四川的局面，只得将政权交给四川保路运动的领导人蒲殿俊等立宪派人士。于是，四川省也宣告独立，成立了“大汉四川军政府”，并接管成都造币分厂。为扩充军需，铸造发行了这种“汉”字铜币。

近期我公司征集到一枚民国二年军政府造四川铜币壹百文，典藏重量20.9g，直径39.2mm 。藏品边沿齿短，左右空心十字花星。正面中央珠圈内镌“四川铜币”四字楷书，四字中心镌刻精美的芙蓉花，气韵十足，象征蓉城成都。“四川铜币”四字开口，点为心。川字最后一笔加长戴帽，上面戴俩点。铜为金字旁，肆横金，第三横缺一半。币字一个粗点代替撇捺。上缘“军政府造”，“军”字笔画较细，“军”以点开头，与横折不连，俗称细丝军。“政”字点攻心，反文撇捺相连。“府”字点开头，横撇不连。“造”字点开头，牛字口造。下缘“当制钱壹百文”，都显示点。“钱”字四横金，第三横向上弯。“文”字是离文文，撇捺与上横不相连。背面珠圈上环镌“中华民国二年”六字。珠圈内镌一篆书“汉”字，以直线纹为底，具有反满兴汉的意义。有横向底纹装饰，旁围十八个小圆圈组成的圆圈，象征着当年响应辛亥革命的十八个省。此币整体打制极为规整，压力十足，工艺精湛制作精良，图案饱满精美，包浆醇厚，历经百年存世甚稀，得以一见颇为不易，极为难得罕贵，具有很高的艺术观赏价值和收藏价值。
